Valentí Almirall i Llozer

Barcelona, 1841 – Barcelona, 1904 Politician / Writer / Lawyer

Lawyer, journalist and politician. He participated in the Revolution of 1868, was a member of the Federal Democratic Republican Party, and president of the Federalists’ Club. He participated in the Tortosa Pact in May 1869 and was the director of the newspaper El Estado Catalán.

Josep Anselm Clavé, while president of the Barcelona Provincial Council, named him director of the Casa de la Caritat.
