Carles Gumí i Prat

Carles Gumí has a degree in Orchestral Conducting and a master’s degree in Musical Research at the Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya (Catalonia College of Music / ESMUC). He also studied Composition and Orchestration at the Municipal Conservatory of Barcelona. Currently, he is the conductor and artistic director of the Orchestra of the University of Barcelona (OUB), and a teacher at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Cervera. He collaborates in projects to recover the Catalan musical heritage at the Catalan Summer University (UCE).
