Josep Maria Vallès i Ribot

Barcelona, 1849 – Vallvidrera, 1911 Politician / Lawyer

Republican politician. He served as a lawyer and founded several newspapers. Deputy to the Spanish Parliament during the First Spanish Republic, and after the death of Francesc Pi i Margall became the leader of the Catalan federal republican movement.
