Joaquim Pi i Margall

Barcelona, 1831 – Madrid, 1891 Politician / Artist

Painter and engraver. He studied in Paris and became a specialist in steel engraving. 

Joaquim Pi i Margall was Francesc Pi i Margall’s youngest brother. He was not interested in politics but was nevertheless an elected member of the Federal Republican Party in Cervera in 1873.
