Gabriel Balart i Crehuet

Barcelona, 1824 – Barcelona, 1893 Musician

Composer, conductor and music teacher. After completing his musical training in Paris and Milan,  he was a lecturer at the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona, and conducted operas there. He composed vocal, symphonic and dance music.
