Josep Anselm Clavé’s uncle, his mother’s brother. Clavé had a close relationship with his uncle, even if they had different political sensibilities. He mentions his interactions with him in many letters, and always visited him when he went to Madrid.
Camps i Camps was Doctor in Pharmacy, Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Madrid. He became deputy to court in 1833, counselor of public instruction, and member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona.
